Description
Mechanically, the Breakdance operates on a highly complex Eccentric Planetary Gear Architecture. The main sweeping platform is intentionally tilted at a precise angle and driven by a massive central slewing bearing and high-torque electric motor. Mounted upon this platform are several secondary planetary hubs, which rotate in the opposite direction of the main floor. Finally, the individual passenger cars are mounted on unpowered, off-center pivot bearings, causing them to spin wildly and unpredictably based on the shifting centrifugal forces and the weight distribution of the riders. All drive systems are managed by sophisticated Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), allowing the operator to dynamically adjust the speed and intensity to match the music and crowd energy.
Because the thrill of the Breakdance relies on lateral movement and physical interaction between riders, the seating design features wide, bench-style cars without restrictive shoulder harnesses. Instead, passengers are safely secured within the deep-welled cars by a heavy-duty, hydraulically locked lap bar. Aesthetically, this ride is a blank canvas for extreme, nightlife-inspired customization. Our in-house FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) artists provide stunning, airbrushed backdrops featuring neon, cyberpunk, or urban graffiti themes. Combined with strobe lights, fog machines, and an integrated high-fidelity soundboard, the Breakdance delivers a fully immersive, multi-sensory festival experience.
