How It Works

Step 1 — Grab a Mat

Riders collect a lightweight EVA foam mat from the mat dispenser station at the base of the tower. Mats are carried up via the access stairway or are delivered by a conveyor system.

Step 2 — Ready Position

At the starting platform, the rider lies face down on the mat with both hands gripping the front handles. The starting attendant gives the signal when the lane is clear.

Step 3 — Launch & Race

On the countdown, riders push off simultaneously. Water flowing over the fiberglass surface creates a low friction hydroplane effect. Riders accelerate down parallel lanes while staying fully visible to spectators.

Step 4 — Controlled Deceleration

The flat run out section at the bottom gradually slows riders to a gentle stop. Riders exit the lane and return mats to the designated return rack — ready for the next race.

It depends on your expected visitor volume. 4 lanes suits small to medium parks (daily attendance under 3,000). 6 lanes is the sweet spot for most commercial water parks (3,000-8,000 daily). 8 lanes is recommended for large scale parks and peak season operations. The starting platform and water supply scale accordingly.

What is the minimum space required for installation?

A typical 6 lane Mat Racer with a 15 m starting height and 80 m slide length requires a footprint of approximately 20 m (width) x 90 m (length), plus buffer zones. We provide a free 3D layout design based on your site survey data to maximize space utilization.

What maintenance is required?

Daily: visual inspection of slide surface, water flow check, mat condition check. Weekly: cleaning of gel coat surface, pump filter check. Monthly: structural bolt torque check, water quality test. Annual: comprehensive inspection of steel structure and FRP body. The fiberglass gel coat is UV-resistant and requires minimal upkeep beyond regular cleaning.

Can the slide color be customized?
