Product Description

A Mat Water Slide Ride is a multi lane downhill water slide where riders lie face down on foam mats and race head to head down parallel fiberglass lanes. Water flows continuously over the slide surface to reduce friction and boost speed, creating a thrilling yet safe competitive racing experience for guests of all ages.

Unlike body slides, the mat provides buoyancy, comfort, and control — riders can reach higher speeds without direct skin contact, making it one of the most popular high capacity water attractions in modern water parks worldwide.

Key Features

Multi Lane Racing Design

Available in 4, 6, or 8 parallel lanes. Riders compete side by side, with clear finish line visibility. Instant spectator appeal and high replay value.

Integrated Water Lubrication

Continuous water injection system along the entire track. Reduces friction, maximizes speed, and keeps mat sliding smooth without wear on the rider or the equipment.

Hand Laid Fiberglass Construction

Multi layer hand-laid FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) with UV resistant gel coat. Smooth interior surface with zero seams along the sliding path for safety and durability.

Safety First Engineering

High sidewalls on every lane prevent rider crossover. Non slip starting platform with handrails. Deep run out lane with gradual deceleration zone. Meets ASTM F24 and EN 1069 standards.

Customizable Layout

Straight run, gentle curve, or wave profile configurations available. Slide length and starting height adjustable to site topography. Custom color matching upon request.

Modular Bolt Together Assembly

All sections are pre fabricated in factory with flanged connections. Bolted assembly on site — no on site fiberglass work needed. Faster installation, less downtime.

How It Works

Step 1 — Grab a Mat

Riders collect a lightweight EVA foam mat from the mat dispenser station at the base of the tower. Mats are carried up via the access stairway or are delivered by a conveyor system.

Step 2 — Ready Position

At the starting platform, the rider lies face down on the mat with both hands gripping the front handles. The starting attendant gives the signal when the lane is clear.

Step 3 — Launch & Race

On the countdown, riders push off simultaneously. Water flowing over the fiberglass surface creates a low friction hydroplane effect. Riders accelerate down parallel lanes while staying fully visible to spectators.

Step 4 — Controlled Deceleration

The flat run out section at the bottom gradually slows riders to a gentle stop. Riders exit the lane and return mats to the designated return rack — ready for the next race.
