Massive, high-torque electric motors with heavy-duty planetary gearboxes are mounted atop the twin support towers, driving the main rotation of the pendulum arms. The passenger gondola itself is suspended on heavy-duty pivot bearings and features its own independent braking and release mechanisms. By intelligently engaging and disengaging the pneumatic brakes on the gondola while the main arms rotate, the PLC system generates thrilling, gravity-driven free-flips or tightly controlled powered inversions. To counter the immense swinging weight, the arms are perfectly balanced with internal steel counterweights, minimizing motor strain and ensuring long-term operational longevity.
Given the extreme inversions, passenger containment is engineered to absolute perfection. The wide gondola features deep bucket seats, each secured by dual-locking, hydraulically actuated OTSR (Over-The-Shoulder Restraints). The entire ride cycle is monitored by a multi-layered PLC safety architecture that prevents the ride from starting unless every single restraint is verified as locked.
