The Dilemma: A Famous Park That Couldn’t Risk Changing Its Layout
When this client from Da Lat first contacted me, their problem was highly representative of established, top-tier scenic parks. Their venue was already mature, highly profitable, and internationally recognized. However, mature parks face a shared bottleneck: visitor fatigue. They desperately needed a fresh attraction to boost repeat visits and family engagement, a common challenge we address in our comprehensive large outdoor park solutions for heritage venues.
The catch? They couldn’t move a single tree, they refused to dig up their lawns, and expanding the high-voltage power grid into that specific zone was an administrative and financial nightmare. Within a highly compact ground footprint of just 14m × 8.5m, our specialized Figure-8 track configuration managed to unfold a thrilling 47-meter-long continuous track. This allowed them to deliver a substantial ride experience without encroaching on surrounding park elements.
- Zero Infrastructure Friction: As you can see from our final handover picture, the entire dual-track layout sits directly on top of the park’s existing artificial turf. With a maximum structure height of only 2.2m, it required no concrete pouring, no deep anchoring, and zero structural disruption to the terrain.
- Why They Ordered 2 Sets: This is a high-traffic park. A single track would create a massive queuing bottleneck during peak seasons. By deploying two identical 47m tracks side-by-side, we doubled their hourly passenger throughput (PPH) without doubling their operational footprint.
- Built for the Tropical Highlands: Da Lat’s mountain climate means high humidity and heavy seasonal rainfall. From a manufacturing standpoint, we didn’t compromise: the tracks feature heavy-wall Q235 galvanized steel wrapped in weather-resistant outdoor industrial coatings, while the vehicle shells are 4mm commercial-grade fiberglass (FRP) to ensure years of zero-maintenance operation.
